Green Architecture Personified...

WNW have been working on a project in the Parkwood area wherein the principles of green architecture are being simplified and personified. We have gone through the process of using firm scientific principles, architectural design and existing exemplars to create a building the with work passively in its hot and cold Johannesburg climate. With principles from Bernoulli's Equation, Heat Stacking, Energy Loss and Temperature Gradients WNW have created a building that will keep its inhabitants both comfortable and healthy without the need for air conditioning. While the building is still in its infancy in terms of Green Standards; WNW are compiling documentation to ensure that every aspect of the building be green, right from demolition to the final coats of paint on the exterior.
